More Info

Tom Curtain discovered his passion for song-writing while working in the stock-camp of Mt Sanford Station, 500kms south of Katherine, NT. What started as some fun singing around the campfire, led to the release of his first award-winning album ‘Smack Bang’ in 2004. Following this, he split his time touring with some of Australia’s biggest country music names and training horses throughout the Northern Territory and Queensland. Tom operates an outback show in Katherine, NT called Katherine Outback Experience from April to October over the winter ‘Dry Season’ months. Over the summer months, Tom and his team take the music and outback show on the road touring Australia. KOE was awarded Gold and Silver in 2021 and 2022 respectively for the Best Tourist Attraction at the Australia Tourism Awards after being awarded Best Tourist Attraction in the Northern Territory for four consecutive years. In November 2017, Tom released his third album 'Territory Time' which debuted at No. 1 on the Australian iTunes Country Music Chart. 'Never Never Land', a duet with Luke O'Shea, went on to win two Golden Guitars at the 2018 Tamworth Country Music Awards for CMC Video Clip of the Year and Toyota Heritage Song of the Year. We’re Still Here, the fourth album shot straight to number 1 on the country i-tune charts and was highly successful around the country. Tom’s fifth studio album, aptly named ‘Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us’ was released in October 2022. Like all of Tom’s albums, it was produced by renown producer Garth Porter in Sydney. Tom was recently inducted into the prestigious Hands of Fame at the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival, which he was extremely honoured by.
